The purpose of this gallery is to store photos I have yet been able to identify or maybe will never be able to identify. I have already moved many into files, Herring of course. Another purpose is to have a place for these questions in case someone else might be able to answer them for me. Hopefully as I gain more knowledge this file will be a little less substantial. I am just learning my gulls and have dedicate this past year/winter to mostly photographing the most unusual ones, or what I perceive as unusual. This has helped me and gulls make great subjects. I find gulls are a lot like stripes on zebras, especially the immature, never exactly the same. I think I have become a laridaholic. My daughter tells me the first step to recovery is admitting it.
