Mongolia and the Naadam Festival

In July of 2013, I and a small group of photographers went to Mongolia to photograph the Naadam Festival in Ulan Batar. This festival is held over the National Holiday. We also travelled to northern Mongolia and visited some monasteries and a local festival.
A short flight from the capitol, after the Naadam, took us south to the Gobi Desert.
