Sasha Claws When Sleeping / 11 Jan 05

I am still practicing to do DoF and it does become a bit easier with practice. I enjoyed watching Sasha while he was dreaming and clawed at something in his dream, of course he was talking in his sleep as well. I think he got what he clawed for.

Below is another shot in warmer tones at a different time without claws. Just a sleepy kitty.

Wow, this one is terrific. That claw almost leaps off the page. I think the DOF is spot on in this image.

Wonderful. You have a good model; my cat would have used her claws if I tried to get that close with a camera!

Great close up! Don't they look so innocent when they're asleep.. then you spot those claws.. and just know..

I love your point of view. Good depth of field too - the cat is sharp enough that you can tell what it is and blurry enough that the claw is emphasised. Oh yes - and the picture's really cute!

I've tried this a few times. It's harder than it looks. Nice job.

Excellent Dof Susanne. Looks like the paw will come right thru the image plane.I can hardly resist paw shots:
