Aurora Fishing
Jenny Lake, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
We took the group to Jenny Lake late on Friday afternoon as we were returning to Jackson,
and enjoyed a spectacular sunset with intensely deep blue skies, silhouette black mountains, and sparkling waters,

We liked the location so much we returned there on Saturday for sunrise, and wow,
what a difference; the colors along the north shore were incredible, as was their reflection.
A live tree on the right provides framing; the dead tree on the left adds diagonal lines,
while connecting with the tree branches on the shore that have lost their leaves in early autumn.
The guy with the fishing rod adds human scale and a reflection; his outstretched arm and the ripples animate the dawn.
