Alcona County Michigan

can anyone ID this turtle for me?
I discovered her at dusk, laying her eggs in the middle of a sandy two-track.

This is a Blanding's turtle (Emydoidea blandingii). It's range is centered on the southern Great Lakes and ranges as far east as Nova Scotia. It is listed as threatened or endangered throughout most of its range. You are lucky to have had the opportunity to observe this nesting event.
