We, and a couple from China, were the only ones on the Split Rock Beach this blustery afternoon of July 10, 2007 -- so were the only ones to witness this singularly beautiful scene. The Chinese couple were from the opposite side of the world, but we equally exalted in the beauty of a surprise rainbow alongside of this Lake Superior lighthouse.
