Thank you for your interest in our botanical photos! But please note that we found these Hydrangea beauties at the Como Park Conservatory in St. Paul (and others we find at nurseries), we didn't grow them, so can not advise on their particular requirements. :-)

I live in northern Virginia andjust purchased a Blaumeister. Some advice on planting, care and flowering?

I live in South/West Virginia, an hour form the N.C. line. It is 1:30 in the afternoon, and shade has just appeared over the area where I wish to plant Blau Meister, and Pink Lace Cap Hydrangea. Will there be too much sun for these Hydrangea. The rest of the day this area is shaded.
Also, there was no informtion regarding the distance apart they should be planted to allow for growth, nor was there any mention of how tall they may grow.
