Two-Button Scarf

Directions to knit scarf:
Measurements are 4 1/2 x 25"
1 hank Misti Chunky Baby Alpaca
#11 needle
2 buttons

Cast on 28 stitches on #11 needle.

Pattern: *K1 into back of stitch, yf, sl 1 purlwise, yb* repeat to end of row.

Repeat pattern for 10 rows

Buttonhole row 1 - Work 7 sts, yo 3x, k2tog, pattern to last 7 sts, yo 3x, k2tog, pattern to end.

Buttonhole row 2 - Work 6 sts, drop 2 yo sts, knit yo, continue in pattern to yo, drop 2 yo, knit yo, continue in pattern to end.

Continue in pattern until scarf measures 25".

Bind off row - K2tog (k & p st), *k2tog. Pass first st on right hand needle over second K2tog*. Repeat** until all sts are bound off.

YB - yarn in back
YF - yarn in front
S1 - slip stitch
K2tog - Knit two stitches together.
