The light was stunning, the air crisp and clear, the low sun cast long shadows, but our camels left without my much-anticipated silhouettes-in-the-dunes shot that I'd dreamed of hanging -the postcard I bought just doesn't look the same on my wall. This is them leaving - they were a long way away before I realized it. So my photographer friends are still one up on me.
