FINALLY!
After 7 years of trying to be in the right place at the right time and always having something amiss, I captured what I feel is a pretty good shot of an eagle in flight. This happened to be shot hand held with my 500 f4 I.S. w/1.4 tele-converter on it. Not my outfit of choice for such attempts, but it was a grab shot. A friend had distracted me in conversation and this eagle suddenly appeared out of no where and flew right past us. Couldn't help but try!!!
