This owl is injured and therefore in a static setting environment so it can be cared for. This is one of several raptors at the West Valley Outdoor Learning Center where kids from all the area schools can come to learn about the birds. I was there volunteering my time to photograph the birds so the kids can make a calendar as a fund raiser.
