My first lightning shot. This was shot at 9:46 at night; the blue sky is due to the lightning's brightness.

Cool catch! I'm still trying to get my first lightning shot. Did you keep shooting the stormy sky until you happened to catch one? Or did you wait until you saw the flash to hit the shutter release?
