With the OTA of the telescope sitting at 1450m above mean sea level, Eagleview is classed as a sub-alpine environment, so this level of snow tends
to be more of an occasional occurrence over winter, perhaps around six to ten days each year. This is enough to keep it a quaint novelty providing
a bit of seasonal fun but not really frequent or heavy enough for it to become a drag and affect operations and observations significantly.
