It is hard to determine exactly but a best estimate, using various reference material, incl. Google Earth and detailed high resolution NSW government topographical
maps, indicates that the completed observatory, will be at an altitude of just under 1450m above mean sea level. This will make Eagleview Observatory about 1000ft
higher than Australia's premier astronomical facility, the AAO at Siding Spring near Coonabarabran NSW and will make it the highest observatory in Australia.
