With several peaks at or above 1500m (~5000ft), the range does get some regular dustings of snow in winter but while certainly very pretty, big dumps are rare
but there is often enough snow to make snow angels, snowman and throw snowballs, it is generally not quite enough to really make skiing all that practical though.
