I don't mind the bit of bright sky either. I think this is a lovely shot.

I prefer to see the sky get blown out rather than the shadows go dark and lose detail. Mt. Diablo looks great! I sure do miss that view!

This is really pretty, Steve, and I don't care about the blown part of the sky. When you have that much contrast something's got to give, and why not the sky? I think it's great myself!

A pity because of the washed out bit in the sky. But I like the light. Did you use fill-in flash to get the bright foreground detail?
