Great shot of this beautiful old building - I love the symmetry!

Thank you for the kind comments! This really is a lovely old building, and it's quite sad to see this part of it unused, or only something tourists pass by on their way to the museum proper. I was fascinated by the windows, and while this was undoubtedly the most difficult to photograph, it was my favorite (and at that ISO happened to be full of noise -)).

Almost sad to see these beautiful and pridefully ornate designs of our past sitting cold and unused. The noise adds to the feeling that this capture was made in a dark, forgotten building, with the light from within the window glowing like a soul not yet gone.

Nice catch and nice colours, Helen. I like the touch of blue that the noise adds. It seems that a lot more craft went into buildings in the past.
