The color is great, as well as the action in the shot. The noise doesn't distract at all for me, and implies 'speed' to capture the action (can't help but associate noise to high ISO film required from the film days to stop action).

Bruce: this is exceptionally engaging. Isn't that one of the key things we try to do with the viewers of our pictures? Though the picture's display size is necessarily small (800 limitation here), your photograph seems to draw the viewer into the picture much like a giant IMAX screen does! Great capture. vincentNYC

This is an exciting action shot with unexpected colour and detail. The noise in the photo nudges this image towards seeming like a painting, an extra dimension rather than a flaw, I think.
