Thanks jo-jo (that's the coney island individual I recall with your sobriquet)...I appreciate it. This is a true masterpiece!

Whoah! $600? In that case I'd order a copy of the current version for myself too! At the price it is now, I think it's worth it, as it really does provide a spectacular effect on some types of images (like this one)!

la bouche, I posted the unprocessed, just resized, version in the demo gallery.

Hitchrooster, thanks for the comment. I know the lucisarts fad has been around for a while, but I've always liked this effect, and I decided to finally buy it because the website said it may not offer this version anymore, and the complete pro one will be $600.

Ahhh, someone's been playing with a new PS filter! :)
The Lucis effect is for the most part past its fad and lost of images really don't benefit from it in my opinion, BUT this one I have to say is exceptional! It really works well and it's a fresh perspective vs. the 1000s of "cracked face" effects ;)... Luv it!

If you wouldn't mind, I would love to see this fantastic image before the LucisArt process, if you could post that in Samples that would be terrific. Thanks.

Thank you for the info. I had to go look it up...darn, that one costs some money :). I'll probably put it on the list of things I might like to play with some day. --mlynn

Thanks for the comments :-) Melanie, I used LucisArts - a photoshop plugin.

This is fabulous! I love all the converging convergingness going on here. Can I ask what type of treatment/post-processing you used, it works very well here. --mlynn
