Nice composition and DOF! My interpretation is that the boy is just worried that his dad won't be able to fix whatever it is he's working on.

Jo: that is the point, I let the meaning of this image open to the people imagination. Could be the carpenter´s son hidden and watching his father working late in the midnight, or could be a child at the wrong place in the wrong moment, hidden as a silent witness of something terrible. Does the kid look courious or afraid for you?. Depends on you, that's the (un)hidden part of the issue.

Daniel, am I missing something? Is the child barricaded in? I guess you have hidden the fear part from me... Otherwise very well executed. Nice solors, excellent DOF, excellent light. Well done.
