Amazing pathway now that it's bethed with sweet light. The bicycle is a perfect foil for the gilded roadway...jrdu

This is a perfect Golden Hour capture. I love that the top part of the bicycle seat and part of the handlebar is illuminated with that warm glow. Lora

I'd like to reflect all the afore mentioned comments on an excellant image. Also love the way the lines take me into the picture and make me wish I could take that bike and see where the road goes. Dale

Thanks Justin, Sky et merci Inframan for the kind words. I have changed the title to reflect the image like Inframan suggested. The in-laws arrived today from France. That might explain the French title.

Bicyclette ou rue d'or? ;)
En tout cas, une excellente photo! J'aime surtout l'ombre de la bicyclette.

Jo, for me this photo evokes a multitude of emotions. Excellent use of light. Love those golden hues.

Great golden warm light here, playing off the cobblestones, and the bicycle not only silhouetted but casting a shadow into the light as well. Good contrast, and nice eye to see the beauty in a common detail, and using the zoom to bring it in.

Thanks for the comment and the tip Frank. This is the corrected version. I threw the wall out altogether.

Definitely more than 5 bonus points for this one. Really great catch. Maybe it would be good to correct the perspective / titlt of the post on the left IMHO.
