Many thanks for your kind remark, Bill! it hadn't occured to me to consider the island in the background a "second subject". Now--as you say so--I might need to ask bottles for some postprocessing help enhancing the sky...?! ;-) db.

Great photograqphy and the subject of it is outstanding...Usually a photo has one main subject, but this has the tracks and the mountain.

Very nice, Daniel! Love the patterns created by the tires in the sand! Good eye.

Glad you like it, bottles, Ann and Denise! The "amazing" depth of field you mention, Ann, is one of the characteristics of all those small digicams: an asset for landscape-photography, but a pain for portraits when you'd like a shallow DOF the digicam can't deliver. This was one of the main reasons for me to step up to a DSLR. Thank you all three for commenting! -- db.

What a fabulous image. Incredible detail in the truck tracks. Good eye to have seen the scene ;-))

How clever, I would never have thought of this. That's what is so good about these challenges, they're full of good ideas that we can learn from! Nice shot and great entry Daniel.
