Dee, this is such a lovely portrait. I like your other two a whole lot also, esp. The Little Beggar one (I have a 15 month old grandson, so that is a very familiar scene!). If this challenge were about a different category, this photo would have been one of those at the top of my list. This was such a difficult category to accomplish...esp. in light of the Holidays and other (family) obligations. I would have liked to have seen a more *seasonal* theme (such as "family") that didn't require us going out and freezing ourselves to death trying to get (often uncooperative) people to let us take photos of them (hardly) working! (Besides, a lot of people aren't working over the Holidays...they're on vacation!). Well, enough grumbling! Your photos are wonderful (I have some suggestions for the weaver's hands one), and I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future. ~Nee (rdavis)
