Thank you all for your kind comments! Tabrizi, it is the same with the models here in Germany. I got mine on Ebay, though luckily it was hardly used and still has 1.5 years of warranty.

Frank, ahhh - that's a fantastic macro. She looks a bit like Medusa in Braids. A terrific entry! I love it.

Congratulations Frank on your new toy. Seems, in Malaysia, when new product is in (Sony camera in particular), the 'old one' suddenly disappear & nowhere to be found, be it H5 or R1 or anything...
