Echium sp. (thyrsiflorum or candicans??) - "Pride of Madeira" or "Tower of Jewels". Indigenous to the Mediterranean,
western Europe, the Canary Islands and Madeira. This specimen is in Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens.

Mike - beautiful colors and excellent composition. These beauties remind me of bottle brush and lupine found in my neck of the woods. A most excellent Calendar Shot!
