Exquisite shot! I like the diagonal shoreline merging with the horizon. With the HDR it looks punched up, but not totally unnatural which is ideal. Lora

David - I am captivated by the swirling clouds in the sky as well as the path. I'd enjoy taking a walk there if only to enjoy the beauty of the clouds and the effects of the water. Beautiful image, David.

Wow, beautiful scene David! Whatever you did you did well, it turned out really great! One improvement you might want to make yet is to straighten the buildings a little. This would of course throw the water off level, but that could easily be fixed using a layer mask. Nice entry and a wonderful calendar page!

Actually it was a little of everything. Using layer masks and blending a couple of exposures with an HDR created from 5 exposures, and then also blending in adjustment layers. I couldn't re-create this image exactly if I tried. Just a couple of hours of fiddling around in all sorts of ways until I got to something that I liked.

Gorgeous image! Absolutely stunning! This is the shot that I always wanted take sometime in my life - should get an R1 soon :-). Could you maybe elaborate a bit on the exposure (HDR or contrast masking). Cheers, Frank
