The contrast between the dark tone skin and the clear backround is remarkable. I like the way the image was framed not including the sky, I think it was a wise decision, just sand and sea. Nice shot!!!

Thanks Kathy...I snapped a few of their game, but liked his expression here too. Katherine, I was surprised how much blur I was getting in the ball too at 1/400. The lighting was a bit dim, post-rainstorm. So I was at Auto ISO which gave me 125, in order to get a faster shutter. The football was being lobbed pretty hard - I guess that gave the blur. I actually liked it a little blurred, to show it was in motion.

Great action shot - that football must have been going quite fast to be that blurred at 1/400s!
