Thank you all! Katherine, you guessed right as to what my intent was... even though in reality it was not the case, in the output I saw a sort of confident-looking gent who's not too shy around the ladies... even if they're painted ones ;) . Also like your thinking, Justin, it never occurred to me that it might portray a hobbyist painter, that would certainly work too!

Composition is really nice here. My initial thought was that this picture was meant to portray a painter and that this was his 'hobby' - his work. Without your description, the picture made my mind come up with a whole different theme - which is a good thing for a photo to be able to do! Nice.

Really nice image - I love the composition, and the sharp details and textures! I wish I knew what you do in post-processing. I don't understand the player reference - maybe it's the way the man is looking at the painting of the woman.
