Bear River Reservoir Panorama*
by Ed Lindquist

Norhern California. Between Jackson and Lake Tahoe.

This image is a compilation of 7 hand held shots stitched together in PhotoShop Elements. I am not very gifted with post processing skills. So, I'm sure that it could be better. But I had fun with it anyway.

Thanks Mike. I enlarged the image. If it is now too large, please feel free to resize. I understand your suggestions, but I have no skills with the clone or smudge tools. Will give it a try. If I achieve any improvement I will repost before challenge ends. If not, oh well! Thanks for your comments.

Ed, there's no need to stay within the 800 pixel wide limit in the case of panoramas. Feel free to replace it with a larger version. :-)
There are numerous ways you could fix the sky, which shows the most obvious stitching bands, but for a quick treatment of the most severe patches, try a combination of the Clone Stamp and Smudge tools, switching back and forth between them and working gradually with the strength, in each case, set fairly low. - Mike F
