Nice capture of the different housing in the city - I love the reflections!

John, I'm glad you chose this shot to enter the challenge, it's right-on target! This looks a lot like Peru to me, a group of newer, comfortable homes situated right alongside their poorer neighbors. It provides an excellent contrasting view of life in the city. I like this image a lot, and even though it's not a pretty scene, it is beautiful in its own way, especially in how it demonstrates "truth" to the viewer.

We wouldn't be missing any details if we got rid of the top of the sky, would we? I was thinking, a third for the sky, a third for the buildings, and a third for the reflection. Am I too rule-bound? Appreciate the idea, Denise. jrdu

Great image, John. The reflections are wonderful!! *I think I might have cropped the sky right above the power lines but that is just me ;-))
