Thank you both for your kind words...Jim, you are absolutely right about the waitress. She had just given a 2 week notice to her boss (my husband) that she was quitting. I found out about this later when I asked him why she seemed somewhat less than thilled about being at work. She wasn't too happy that I was taking her picture, either... ~nee (rdavis)

Great capture. "Yeah, I'm working at this diner, and I'm not happy about it". That's what I feel she's thinking. Very nice. Shutter.

I like the use of B&W and the poignancy of the shot. There's real feeling here, enhanced by the grainy shot and B&W treatment.
