I also was touched by this photo... I have to agree with Eric about the color issue. Add a touch of blue to tone down the yellow, perhaps crop it in a bit, and you would have a much better take on this already wonderful photo. His expression says it all...'nee (rdavis)

I own the first comment. Just wanted to add that a color cast correction would have helped. Still, this is one of my votes for the top 3. Erichocinc.

I agree with the above post. This one touches the heartstrings. The juxtapositioning of the shiney, big, black, robust piano with the frail, white, small man is effective. The man is a noble character who is obviously a master of the piano. I would have liked more detail in the highlights and the color is a bit unpleasant (yellow), but overall, it is an excellent composition.

This is a very evocative image. Maybe it's the subject. I can make up so many stories about this old man... some cheerful, some sad, and probably none of them close to the truth. But what a powerful seed for literary invention you have sown!
