Wow, that's a great old jalopy. Excellent job on the exposure

Great shot! The color version really shows the rust best IMHO.

Thank you delog, lac111 & Tabrizi for your generous comments.

~Tabrizi - I imagine someone someday will try to restore this little gem. I found it when driving through a town that time forgot on a road less traveled. ;) The place was full of rundown victorian mansions & one pair of mansions was surrounded by a junkyard of every conceivable kind of vehicle. I started shooting the houses & peered in one & it was full of old cars. This one was in the garage of the other house. There's actually an old truck behind this car.

I'll have to go back & meet the owner. I'll have to be careful though, or I'll wind up buying it. ;)

Intense yet excellent shot... Any restoration intended..?

Amazing image, thought provoking.... I wonder the stories that old car could tell.

Thank you for the kind words, Martin, Helen & Katherine.
I have to admit I'm partial to the b&w version because it really came out as I visualized it, kind of metallic bright & really dark. Now if I could only have gotten that guy with the fangs to get into the shot. ;)

Wow, that certainly is weathered! Great shot - I love the rusty textures and colors. I like this version best, but the black/white image is cool, too.

Great find, love the texture and color. Helen

Superb!! Definitely prefer the color version here to accentuate all that 'weather'! Nice to see a little theme interpretation too ;)
