Ice Maiden

Whatcom Falls Park

We found a whole row of these icicles hanging down from a branch on the edge of Whatcom Creek. After photographing them we had to get a closer look so my brother Stephen snapped one off. We were amazed by the layers of snow covered in layers of ice. This is Arvin taking a close look.

Those are very peculiar icicles. They look like a turbulent flow frozen in time. I think I can see your hand in the centre blob. Cool.
