This was probably my favorite picture I took in 2006. I took this shot from a resort in Lake Tahoe. I like this picture because it was not planned, just something I noticed and decided to grab the camera to catch the full moon in the right position.

Ryan, I really like how the balcony is such a prominent part of this scene...it places me right there as an observer "bathed in the moonlight". Neat how it contrasts with the dark mountainside and provides that interesting view toward the twinkling lights of civilization. Nice photo. MFC

This is really cool. I especially like the silhouetted tree - I think it makes the picture. I can see why this is a favorite of yours.

I like this one, Ryan. The lit balcony is pretty prominent, but I think that's part of the charm of the image. Love the cloud capture in the night sky, as well.
