On the Verge of the Abyss

Ramon Crater, Negev Desert, Israel

These Nubian Ibex were photographed at the rim of the Ramon Crater in the Negev desert. These three young ibex were quite curious as to what I was up to, and momentarily all three looked at me. This was a few minutes past sunrise, hence the special backlighting.
