Beautiful use of colouring though this (and the DoaS shot) convey a sense of emptiness. A sadness. I would like to believe that the emotion behind these shots is for fictional reasons though, with a heavy heart, I feel this is not the case. Tastefully represented (no pun intended).
Stephane, this composition is very well thought out...beautiful lighting, selective coloring, and clarity here. The scene feels so moody and emotive, evoking such feelings as sadness or loss ...or the yearning for something that just can't be. The empty glass and full, the redness of the wine, the shadow casts, the empty chair behind...all wonderful elements that contribute to the story. Creative and well executed, Stephane. MFC
