I was amazed to find new blossoms like this, blooming among the fallen leaves in a small green area near my daughter's apartment in Richmond Hill, Ontario last week.
There was frost almost every night and they had had snow just a few days before.

The yellow and brown look so good together! I like the way you focused on the flower and allowed the leaves to be slightly blurred. Nice one Jerry!

I like the composition and bright yellow color! It's surprising that the flower grew there in the cold - until I read that, I assumed you had placed an indoor flower amongst the fallen leaves.
