Global Light Reflected
by Ann Chaikin

Bellingham, WA

This little blown glass globe is about 2 inches across. Inside are an amazing array of glass colors and textures. It is a favorite of mine and is part of our small collection of blown glass globes. It is sitting on top of a small base with a light inside shining up through a hole.

So the items inside are not fabric or plastic? WOW had no idea they were glass! The colors are out of this world...love the reflection below too... the shapes inside make me a bit jumpy, must be my old age LOL!

I love the variety of textures and colors here. The exposure seems just right, too, capturing the sparkle of highlights and darkness of deep shadow. Just lovely!
