This is a shot that I also had in a previous exhibition. When working on it, I was not aware that I had choosen a complementary color for background. It just looked nice to me. :-)

Ela, to be honest the contour is "accidential" post processing. For the shot I placed the flower in front of a mirror that was leaning on the wall. The lighting was a flash completely bounced by the white ceiling. The backgroound is originally a white wall on the other side of the room, but I decided to change the color. It was easy to select the background automatically with the wizard. After changing the color I noted the contour, but also liked it.

I really like the creative composition with the blurry background gently balancing the picture. I’m curious about the darker contour there … is it post-processing?
