This is the waiting room at Sirkeci Train Station, one my my favorite non-tourist-attraction buildings in Istanbul. I had forgotten that it used to be the end of the line for the famous Orient Express until bottles mentioned it in his comments, so decided to change the title! I am on a Nikkor lens site development where I am featuring the 24/120 AFS zoom, I do noticed you shot a lot of pictures using the zoom, do you have a usable, good photo as contributing illustration for its potential lens usage in real life situations ? credit and return link will be provided. please revert using my personal email leofoo@mir.com.my
What a beautiful building Helen. I did a little research on the Internet and from what I can tell, that building dates back to about 1890. I found the reading, about the station and the "Orient Express", rather interesting. You've certainly done a wonderful job of capturing this old building. Your exposure appears to be right on! Nice shot and great entry.
