Started looking at visual pattern within context of larger social patterns. I like to look the back of things. Here a traffic area and the ubiquitious WalMart--which makes its own pattern over our socital landscape. I was drawn to the repeated forms and division of space by horizontal and vertical lines into many different rectangles, and within them all-over patterns like blocks and grasses.
