The Bellyvedere at Dusk
by

Belly Acres

As much as I like this shot, I think the flare from the lights of the lower overhang are a technical flaw that is annoying! Would a polarizer help??

Polarizer will certainly help but it will work on the whole image. Why not try Post Processing ... visit:http://www.pbase.com/stfchallenge/challenge_121_demo
I hope you will find your image as you wanted it to be( If you ask me frankly, your original image with the light bursts looks natural and lovely)

I forgot to mention that I love the clever name Belly Acres!

That brightly lit cabin really looks cozy - I love the way the lights are beaming outward! I don't know if that's what you mean by the light flare. I do see something weird on both sides of the image - it kind of looks like smudges on the lens. It's not real noticeable, though, at least on my monitor at work.
