Thanks for the comments. Helen, if you were in Budapest, you couldn't miss the "Freedom Statue". It is on the top of the Gellert-hill, direct on the riverside. Regards, MCsaba

this is amazing! What a day to have a camera in your hand! My words won't do this image justice so, I'll leave it all unsaid. Thank you.

Beautiful image - I love the dramatic sky!

Very powerful image, great work. I don't know why this statue looks so familiar to me; I've been to Budapest (which I loved, btw) but not sure I ever saw it, if that's where it was taken. The silhouette is very familiar to me, however, and is surely the most beautiful capture of it I've ever seen. Helen

Thanks for the comments. I cloned out the umbrella and cropped out the branches, I agree that they do not fit in the scene (hope to update the picture soon). Cheers, MCsaba

Superb! That sky is so rich and yet ominous in a 'four horsemen' kinda way! I agree with Adam below though, the umbrella detracts, but that's easily remedied! Great work, MCsaba!

MCsaba - this is great even by your standards. Amazing capture.

Going to point out the only thing that stops me asking you to send me a signed print of this - the white umbrella in the bottom right. And maybe a crop that places the edge of the pillar at the edge of the frame so we don't have the branches at the bottom right?

But this is so close to perfection it really doesn't matter - I LOVE the hand poking up from behind the 2 statues still fighting.
