In stark contrast to the previous image, here I do like the use of DoF. The OoF areas here move and flow with the general rolling of the image created by highlights and shadows and add interest.
The OoF area does extend a little into an area I'd like to see in sharp focus in the top right - a very minor point though.
A good job of controlling highlights and shadows - the exposure is spot on.
Good use of PP - almost unnoticable with perhaps a little sharpening applied (although maybe it's in camera? The unnoticable comment is a commendation - you've achieved a very natural finish)
The composition is also good - a nice diagonal.
Final comment, have you thought about reintroducing the in focus area elsewhere in the image? This could add further interest.
Beautiful color and shadows. Very serene image. Helen

Ian, yes, this is an anonymous entry, the artist notified me. It also is either a Sony or KM image, in case anyone wonders (it's in the exif).

Perfect example of a nice minimalistic composition! Nice shading, love the OOF accompanied by the sharp patch of texture up top to get a bit of an idea of what the object may be!
