5th Place [tie]
Hairy-tails

by

This is a macro shot of Clematis seed; I spotted the bush while taking a walk this past winter. The brown seed cluster is about one half inch (1.3 centimeters) across. I'm not sure of the species, but I think it could be "Clematis_Terniflora". I should be able to identify it when it blooms later this Spring. I love the white hairy tails coming from each seed.

Thanks Denise and Zahid for your comments. Basically this is pretty much a natural shot. I did sharpen the main seed cluster a little, as I do almost all of my digital photos (especially after reducing the size for this challenge). I also lightened the blue background some as it was darker than I liked. Hey, I love getting comments, thanks again!

Excellent, bottles. I always admire the artist in you.By the way, is it all natural or did you do some post processing.
