Nice! Really a beautiful shot -- white hot and crisp.

Wow, now that's hot! I think melt ovens are usually keep somewhere around 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. I like the colors in this image and the reflections in the glass too. Very nice entry Helen!

Very dynamic shot, Helen. You sure can almost feel that heat. I've always been fascinated by the art of glass blowing, but never had the opportunity to see it "live".

I've always loved this one Helen. I love how really hot it feels! Ann

Wonderful image - I love the smoky swirls and the clarity of the glass outside the oven, and how it heats up from orange to bright hot white as it goes into the oven!

An amazing image that really does justice to the glass making process. You can feel the white hot heat of that furnace. I was in Waterford, Ireland several years ago and couldn't tear myself away from the glass blowers. They were shaping handles on pitchers. It was fascinating.

Wow, I really like this one. Great color and really fits the challenge. I think I've been to this place. Bought a couple of glasses. I couldn't get this close to the fire though. Good one Helen!
