I knew someone was going to suggest they were stuck pixels... They're Stars! (really!)
The exposure time was 4 seconds. Less time and the buildings aren't bright enough, get the buildings bright enough and the lights burn in a little. A compromise had to be reached. This is the best of 70 shots I took of this scene. I particularly liked the boat moving in the forground - gives a feeling of action to the shot. Graeme.

Graeme, what was the exposure time on this great shot? Maybe just a wee bit overexposed but those lights do pop!

are those two bright dots bad pixels? anyway this is the 1st impressive pic I've seen with a D7.
