Great image. The splash of color against the nice neutral background, and the frog's pose (you clearly have a way with frogs) all contribute to a superb picture.

Wow! Shiny frog! The composition is wonderful. I really like the crispness of the frog in his resting place. This image is NO sleeper!

Nice image of an interesting creature. I like this.

Nom de Plume, I'll gladly email information when we can share identities. In response to the last comment, no blurring was done on the background. This is a macro shot done with a tripod...background blur and frog sharpness are from the camera. To my eyes, the frog looks sharp...it's a very smooth/sleek tree frog. Thanks for the comments. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but this looks like the background was blurred in an image editing program. It would look better if you duplicated a layer, used masking to isolate the foreground and frog on the top layer and then blurred the bottom layer. The frog and foreground would then have sharp edges.

Agree with RJ's comments completely. Would really like to know how you're applying the 3d (shadow) effect to the border - something I'd like to try myself. (signed, master/mr/miss/ms/mrs/all-the-above Nom de Plume.)

That frog looks seriously unmotivated! Great colors.
