New York City
by Denise

New York City

We cruised from San Francisco and we arrived in NYC at sunrise after passing Ground Zero. It was 9/11/04. A very moving experience.

Thanks everyone!! I was really lucky to catch this sunrise. We were 18 days on the cruise and never had one decent sunset or sunrise!!!!! until the very last moment as we docked. We had a balcony cabin so I was able to go outside and capture the unreal colors. This is what it really was. Outrageous!!

OUF!!! The kind of shot I would like to take but the sky never helps me… The colors and the clouds in the sky are terrific making an incredible background to the buildings silhouette. And the scene in foreground with the illuminate boat completes the perfectly this picture.
Great!

Marvellous shot Denise... Really love the color... It's like 2 different shot stitched up together...

This is a beautiful photo!

I think you ALREADY have some points from me.

I love the colours in this shot.
Amazing...

I wish I could be there.

Oh, what a perfect shot! I like everything about this image Denise, the silhouetted buildings, all the little lights, and of course that gorgeous sunset. The exposure was just right for this shot, very nice indeed!
